Anonymous usage analytics
Quantex Terminal collects anonymous usage data to understand how the product is used and to make it better. We do not collect personal information, and you do not need an account to use the public site.
What we collect
- Pages viewed — which screens are opened.
- Features used — e.g. which financial models are run.
- Tickers searched — the stock symbol you look up (e.g.
AAPL). - Session length — roughly how long a visit lasts.
- Session replays — anonymous recordings of on-screen interactions (clicks, navigation, scrolling) used to diagnose usability issues. All on-screen text and every input field are masked.
What we do NOT collect
- No names, emails, or other personal information.
- No text you type, other than the stock ticker you search.
- No readable personal content in session replays — all on-screen text and every input field are masked before a recording leaves your browser, so names, emails, and anything you type are never captured.
How it works
Analytics and session replay are powered by PostHog. Events and replays are anonymous and are used only in aggregate to improve Quantex Terminal. If analytics ever fail to load, the app continues to work normally.
How to opt out
We honor your browser's “Do Not Track” setting. If Do Not Track is enabled in your browser, no analytics events are collected. You can also block analytics with most privacy-focused browser extensions, and the site will still work perfectly.
